Go Aggies Go!

Mike and Becky and their kids came to visit this past weekend. They arrived Friday afternoon and stayed through Sunday. Friday afternoon Quent took them on a tour of the hatchery. Both Mike and Becky have known Quent since college and Becky has always wanted to see Quent "in his natural habitat" and loved seeing him at the hatchery.

Saturday's activities included football, football and more football. The day started out with the Texas/OU game. Mike and Ryan (Mike's son) are huge Texas fans as Mike grew up near Austin, Texas. At noon we headed towards Logan to attend the USU vs. Nevada game. It was a great game but unfortunatly the Aggies allowed the Wolf Pack to come back in the fourth quarter and lost by three.

Following the game we hit the Aggie Creamery and walked around campus. This was the first time I'd spent any time on campus other than attending a sporting event. It was great to see the college dorm where Quent spent his college years.

After the tour of campus we hit one of their favorite Pizza places for dinner before heading home. We spent Saturday night watching the final two quarters of the Texas/OU game and the University of Utah game.

Mike and Becky left Sunday morning as they had a nine hour drive ahead of them. It was great to see them, we haven't seen them since our wedding.
