Alyssa Camps Out

Alyssa has been bugging Nicole and Steve to go camping so they thought they would venture north and camp in my backyard. They arrived Saturday afternoon and stayed until Sunday afternoon. Alyssa brought her new fishing pole (pink barbie pole) and headed out with her dad to the fishing pond not soon after they arrived. They caught a couple of big fish but didn't end up keeping any of them.

She rode her four-wheeler all over the yard (see TJ in the previous post) and had a blast playing outside. Saturday night all the aunts, uncles and cousins were up for grandma and grandpa's wedding annversary. She had a great time playing with Morgan and eating smores.

Once all the family left it was time for bed. Alyssa and Steve slept outside in a tent while Nicole and Patrick (7 months old) decided to stay in aunt Cindy's guest room.

Sunday morning aunt Cindy made pancakes and sasuage for breakfast. Steve and Alyssa went fishing again but the weather turned bad real quick so the fishing got cut short as they had to hurry back to take down the tent before it got super wet.

We all went to Wingers for lunch, after lunch Quent and I returned to Mantua and they headed back to North Salt Lake.
Unfortunatly I didn't get any pictures of the camping trip, hopefully Nicole will email me some pictures.
