Signs of Spring

It's been cold this week, down right freezing. Our temperature last night got down to 25. Today however it's supposed to warm up. It's almost 50 here in the mountains. The last couple of days we've had snow, nothing sticking to the ground but cold, blowing snow.

The hummingbirds have been out and about the last week or so and today while it was actually warm enough to go outside, I grabbed my camera and waited...and waited...and waited. I got this shot of a hummingbird a the feeder. I was hoping to get one in flight but no such luck.
