Visiting Salt Lake

While Quent was hunting, I spent a couple of days in Salt Lake catching up with old friends and spending time with my much older brother, Dale, who was in town for a couple of days. (Dale's only two years older but I love to remind him that he is "much older".

Thursday afternoon Joy and I took the kids down to the Gateway Mall for the annual Elephant Parade prior to the circus. We had fun watching the circus performers travelling through the mall and the only thing Morgan will tell you is that the elephant's stink. It's true, you could smell them coming, it was nasty!

Thursday night we went to the Riverton Football game, at West Jordan, and they came out with a win. It's always fun to watch Riverton win.

Friday night we all went to dinner with Dale and Saturday Quent came down to Salt Lake to see Dale and to attend a viewing of an old friend, who happens to be Ashley's grandfather. (Ashley is Rick's wife). After the viewing we went to a late breakfast/early lunch with the family. It's always good to spend time with Dale when he is in town.

On our way home to Mantua, Quent and I stoped at Nicole's house (who happened to be in Disneyland) and picked all of her tomatoes.
